Event Details:

The Stanford GSB Chapter of Hong Kong is pleased to invite you to a private off-the-record breakfast event with Peter Pang, Deputy Chief Executive of the HKMA, sharing his thoughts on the HKMA’s key challenges and opportunities.

The HKMA’s responsibilities for Hong Kong’s economic security are substantial.  Its mandate, inter alia, covers not only the stability and integrity of the overall financial system of the SAR, but also maintenance of its currency stability within the Linked Exchange Rate System and responsibility for maintaining Hong Kong’s overall status as a leading international financial centre. In such capacity, the HKMA’s role is not just to react, but to anticipate the key strategic challenges facing Hong Kong, and to proactively take the right course of actions to maintain its role as a leading financial centre. We look forward to welcoming you to this special off-the-record event.
