Event Details
Jason Mayden is world renowned for his work with athletes such as basketball star Michael Jordan and baseball star Derek Jeter, and celebrities such as Eminem. He is a Stanford GSB Sloan graduate from 2011.  But what fuels him? What drives him to create for some of the world’s most iconic people? Come and listen to his philosophy about design, the future of sports, technology and creativity and how curiosity is the glue that binds these seemingly disparate worlds together.  A TEDX at Stanford talk by Jason can be found here by Clicking Here.
Previous to attending Stanford and completing the Sloan Fellows programme, Jason oversaw the design of conceptual products and services for Jordan Brand as Senior Global Design Director, and then as Global Director of Innovation for Nike Digital Sport. In his post-Stanford work with Nike, Jason worked on crafting strategy focused on expanding the impact and relevancy of the brand through the creation of products such as the Nike Fuel Band. He is currently a d.fellow and lecturer at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University where professionals from across disciplines come together to learn and apply Design Thinking to complex challenges.
